At the AUTOPART R&D center, we have developed a special offer for trucks operating in difficult off-road conditions. The AUTOPART EFB EVR battery achieves excellent results in endurance tests, thanks to innovative design changes.

The AUTOPART EFB EVR (Enhanced Flooded Battery – Extreme Vibration Resistance) battery was created for vehicles operating in difficult terrain, as well as those meeting the Euro5 and Euro6 standards, in which the batteries are mounted on the rear axle of the vehicle. It achieves exceptional resistance to shocks
and overloads thanks to a core that stabilizes the cells, glued packages and additional glued connections of the plates with the bridge.

The AUTOPART EFB EVR battery uses a special core that stabilizes the cells for the first time, which significantly affects the results of strength tests. Field tests conducted by AUTOPART show that batteries in trucks are mainly exposed to movement in the "Z" axis (up and down). The key challenge for technologists was therefore to stabilize the internal structure of the battery.

The technology used in the new model was commented on by Rafał Ryczek, technologist in the AUTOPART R&D department, responsible for the development of the solution:

- When designing the EFB EVR battery, we focused on strengthening the internal structure in order to minimize the impact of shocks and overloads. The stabilizing core and additional gluing of the plate connections with the bridge are key innovations that allowed us to significantly increase the battery's resistance to extreme operating conditions - emphasizes R. Ryczek.
