2,400 photovoltaic panels with a total capacity of 1 MWp have been installed on the roof of the AUTOPART factory. This allows for the production of 1,000 MWh of electricity needed to operate the entire plant and reduces CO² emissions by 770 tons per year.
AUTOPART produces over 2 million batteries annually, which are charged exclusively at its Mielec factory. Energy demand is enormous, so the company decided to invest in additional energy sources. For environmental and infrastructure reasons, a system from the international company House Solutions, specializing in large-scale photovoltaic installations, was selected.
When selecting the project contractor, we emphasized the highest quality inverters and optimizers to ensure almost 100% utilization of the panels' power. Furthermore, operating this installation requires no additional personnel – a helpful app simplifies control for our energy technician and provides a complete overview of the entire system. Along with our own water treatment plant and modern filtration systems, the photovoltaic installation is the company's most important environmental investment.
